Luisinho Nóbrega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Rosado having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Carlos Alberto Pontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the game, Mateus Pontes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galuado SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Apuhy EC the free kick. Mateus Pontes hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute of the match Diego Neto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michel Hoffmann skillfully saved the ball. In the 18th minute Jânio Brodel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Apuhy EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Augusto Netto to maneuver through the defense. Luisinho Nóbrega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute Jânio Brodel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Galuado SS booed when Apuhy EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Dudu de Sena came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Galuado SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dudu de Sena couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute, Dudu de Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michel Hoffmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Augusto Netto in the 46th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jânio Brodel in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michel Hoffmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jânio Brodel was the one to do the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Jânio Brodel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galuado SS's Michel Hoffmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jânio Brodel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Hoffmann having to interfere. Apuhy EC's João Augusto Netto got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Galuado SS's zone, João Augusto Netto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michel Hoffmann came out of the goal and João Augusto Netto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute, Luisinho Nóbrega ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacinto Rosado was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. João Augusto Nettos short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Michel Hoffmann to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jacinto Rosado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisinho Nóbrega, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Dudu de Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Rosado having to interfere. Luisinho Nóbrega took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacinto Rosado. Jacinto Rosado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 86th minute, Jânio Brodel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Galuado SS's Michel Hoffmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jânio Brodel in the 89th minute of play. João Augusto Netto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Michel Hoffmann when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Apuhy EC's Jacinto Rosado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dudu de Sena in the 93rd minute of play. Jânio Brodel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Apuhy EC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Galuado SS.
