Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and João Paulo Munhoz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. João Paulo Munhoz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Tostão Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 21st minute, João Paulo Munhoz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jonathan Ferrant, passed just outside the right post. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by BAR100LONA's Dênis Maia. But to his dismay, Dênis Maia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Dênis Maia scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 3-0. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Johannes Blom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. If João Paulo Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dênis Maia to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Tadeusz Szotek in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 69 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. The BAR100LONA players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
