If Duarte Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, Porto Villa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Melo came free, but Alex Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronaldinho Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldinho Melo in the 16th minute of play forced Porto Villa FC's goalkeeper Alex Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dadá de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adalberto Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Cavalcante kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldinho Melo in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex Proença prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alex Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldinho Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcel Sarmento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dadá de Senna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adalberto Barros's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Ronaldinho Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Proença having to interfere. The Pratinha FC fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Pratinha FC's Marcel Sarmento looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 47th minute, Toninho Sabóia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Ronaldinho Melo made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcel Sarmento in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alex Proença saved Porto Villa FC from getting behind. In the 55th minute Ronaldinho Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcel Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Proença having to interfere. Adalberto Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Dadá de Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Porto Villa FC defense, Marcel Sarmento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Proença. The Porto Villa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Proença should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Porto Villa FC booed when Pratinha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toninho Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronaldinho Melo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alex Proença read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Marcel Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Proença having to interfere. After having played for 75 minutes, Ronaldinho Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pratinha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldinho Melo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erivaldo Teles hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Marcel Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Proença having to interfere. When Pratinha FC's Ronaldinho Melo in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
