The supporters of Trumpho AD booed when Setor H was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Cardozo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luizinho Melo struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Geovanni Abraão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trumpho AD. If Gerson Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 13 minutes, Gerson Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trumpho AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerson Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Luizinho Melo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geovanni Abraão was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After 16 minutes, Luizinho Melo made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Setor H's Geovanni Abraão tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Geovanni Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizinho Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Ronaldo Melo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Geovanni Abraão. Setor H's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Setor H's goal looked a bit too open when Gerson Garcia came free, but Geovanni Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Trumpho AD were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luizinho Melo was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizinho Melo in the 59th minute of play forced Setor H's goalkeeper Geovanni Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 67 minutes into the game, Luizinho Melo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Geovanni Abraão. Luizinho Melo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. In the 71st minute, one of Setor H:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Setor H. The goalkeeper, Geovanni Abraão, was totally fooled by Trumpho AD's Luiz Paulo Vianna, who 74 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Gerson Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Geovanni Abraão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Trumpho AD could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Setor H throughout the match.
