Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Almir Montenegro started the match with the kick off. When Maurinho França came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Baracari SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurinho França couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute, Wilson Tróia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Norberto Carneiro from long distance, 9 minutes into the match, got Horácio Cavalcante's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to Ananas getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Aírton Negri hit a great ball. When Ananas's Almir Montenegro in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Baracari SC's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Baracari SC's Victor Bueno slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Horácio Cavalcante. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. In the 18th match minute, Ananas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Almir Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. Edvaldo Saraiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almir Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Alfredo Penha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Almir Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Saraiva having to interfere. Ananas's Horácio Cavalcante proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Ananas from getting a goal against them. Edvaldo Saraiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Almir Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Ananas's Almir Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfredo Penha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Edvaldo Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victor Bueno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Victor Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ananas's Horácio Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Bueno in the 62nd minute of play. Leopoldo Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Edvaldo Saraiva made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Alfredo Penha sent off a good shot on target. When Victor Bueno came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Baracari SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Bueno couldn't finish the play. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Maurinho França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Victor Bueno scored 2-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horácio Cavalcante, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edvaldo Saraiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Almir Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. If Victor Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ananas's goalkeeper Horácio Cavalcante, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maurinho França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horácio Cavalcante having to interfere. A collision led to Baracari SC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Norberto Carneiro hit a great ball. 96 minutes in the game Júlio de Queirós got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Baracari SC had won after a very even match.
