To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Pedro Silveira in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dalmo Arruda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 41 played minutes Pirajuhia got a freekick which was hit by Hélio Macedo. In the 43rd minute João Pedro Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos de Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After 47 minutes Pirajuhia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wilson Sanches who took care of the corner kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felippe de Medeiros to make the kick off. After 64 minutes of play, Pirajuhia's Dudu Vinhas made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michel Prestes was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee ignored SUAVE FC's protests and gave Nestor Bueno a yellow card for diving instead. After 83 played minutes SUAVE FC got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Bueno. SUAVE FC's João Pedro Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pirajuhia's Dalmo Arruda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Pirajuhia from getting a goal against them. Dalmo Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felippe de Medeiros in the 92nd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Pirajuhia's goal looked a bit too open when Felippe de Medeiros came free, but Dalmo Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pirajuhia's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
