After 35 minutes of play Esmeril FC's Eliseu Valle was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 36 played minutes Esmeril FC got a freekick which was hit by Eliseu Valle. A hard shot by Nilmar Coutinho from long distance, 37 minutes into the match, got Armindo Soeiro's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Esmeril FC's Armindo Soeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Esmeril FC from getting a goal against them.
