Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Erik Melo hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jano Saraiva during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 15 played minutes Avaí Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Jano Saraiva. In the 20th minute, Erik Melo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silvério Garcia was a little too slow when Telmo Paranaense got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-0. Ademar Veiga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Silvério Garcia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ademar Veiga might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvério Garcia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ademar Veiga ran back to his position shaking his head. Tião Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fabiano Costa in the 35th minute of play. Tião Reis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elói Faria went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Ademar Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Tião Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elói Faria in the 46th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ademar Veiga to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Jano Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvério Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Rabelo's zone, Ademar Veiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvério Garcia came out of the goal and Ademar Veiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 55 minutes, Erik Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avaí Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Melo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silvério Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ademar Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ademar Veiga scored 2-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvério Garcia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ademar Veiga in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvério Garcia saved Rabelo from getting behind. Eriberto Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvério Garcia having to interfere. If Erik Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Avaí Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Tião Reis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Fabiano Costa. Silvério Garcia came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Avaí Futebol Clube's Telmo Paranaense. But to his dismay, Telmo Paranaense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ademar Veiga in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvério Garcia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Telmo Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Silvério Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ademar Veiga in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvério Garcia saved Rabelo from getting behind. Telmo Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvério Garcia having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Rabelo's goal looked a bit too open when Telmo Paranaense came free, but Silvério Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Avaí Futebol Clube's Ademar Veiga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvério Garcia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Erik Melo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Avaí Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Avaí Futebol Clube fully deserved thier win.
