Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Tubarão Futebol Clube's Otávio Marinho started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Dudu da Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tubarão Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Araguaiana the free kick. In the 4th match minute, Tubarão Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dudu da Silva to maneuver through the defense. Waldemar Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Perez having to interfere. Jonas Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Perez having to interfere. Yuri Perez was a little too slow when Otávio Marinho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. Otávio Marinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Yuri Perez made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldemar Amorim got free with Yuri Perez in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yuri Perez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jonas Palmeira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldemar Amorim got free with Yuri Perez in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Danilo de Queiroz hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Jano Catarinense was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 27th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Danilo Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorian Ceresso in the 30th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Otávio Marinho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Yuri Perez, 3-0. With a little luck, Araguaiana's Yuri Perez got control of the ball when Waldemar Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Dudu da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonas Palmeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

In the 52nd minute, Duda Bezerra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yuri Perez was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After having played for 62 minutes, Jonas Palmeira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tubarão Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Palmeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jonas Palmeira came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Tubarão Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Palmeira couldn't finish the play. Jacinto Ortiz struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Yuri Perez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tubarão Futebol Clube. Jonas Palmeira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yuri Perez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 74th minute Jonas Palmeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dorian Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Danilo Sabóia successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Danilo Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorian Ceresso, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Jonas Palmeira kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Yuri Perez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dudu da Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Palmeira in the 91st minute of play forced Araguaiana's goalkeeper Yuri Perez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Luiz Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
