Célio Rezende started the match with the kick off. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Arlindo Berger took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Dario Elorri to make any attempt to save it. When Doni Cruz fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tabua's protests and gave Doni Cruz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tabua's Doni Cruz got a free kick in the 10th minute. Tabua's Benedito Leme shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 17th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dario Elorri but with some difficulty. Célio Rezende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Duarte Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gerson Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. In the 25th minute Gerson Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evandro Peres charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evandro Peres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Tabua getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Evandro Peres hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, VAMOS SUBIR ESQUADRÃO's goal looked a bit too open when Jerônimo Zilles came free, but Dario Elorri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. VAMOS SUBIR ESQUADRÃO were furious when Acácio Vinhas was red carded, 39 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for VAMOS SUBIR ESQUADRÃO! When the match had been going on for 41 minutes, Tabua's Frederico Trigo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dario Elorri. After 47 played minutes Tabua got a freekick which was hit by Evandro Peres. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Haroldo Araújo was the one to do the kick off. Dario Elorri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haroldo Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arlindo Berger in the 92nd minute of play forced VAMOS SUBIR ESQUADRÃO's goalkeeper Dario Elorri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tabua's Haroldo Araújo got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Guto Veiga made a precise shot to the right of Duarte Meira. Tabua's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The Tabua support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
