After having played for 24 minutes, Hugo Orlando Gatti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 66th minute Armando Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas Maabo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Igor Cerezo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of S.E.Palmeiras's Enéas Maabo. Enéas Maabo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the S.E.Palmeiras defense, Armando Botelho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enéas Maabo. The S.E.Palmeiras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enéas Maabo should have stopped the shot.
