The Correas FC fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Correas FC's Luiz Fábio Penha looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 31 minutes into the match, Tobati SS's goal looked a bit too open when Décio Pimenta came free, but Vinícius da Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Correas FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Hudson Vaz hit a great ball. Sílvio Prado struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Duarte Branco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tobati SS. Thanks to some nice moves Alexandre Valadares could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Duarte Branco however easily saved by the left post. Vinícius da Rocha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Décio Pimenta went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Alexandre Valadares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Duarte Branco made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sílvio Prado made a kick off. Correas FC were furious when Jairo Donatello was red carded, 57 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Correas FC's Duarte Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Valadares in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, Correas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Paranaense to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Fábio Penha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vinícius da Rocha having to make a save. Vinícius da Rocha was a little too slow when Luiz Fábio Penha got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-3. 78 minutes into the match, Sílvio Prado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Duarte Branco. Correas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sílvio Prado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 82 minutes into the match, Tobati SS's goalkeeper Vinícius da Rocha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Fábio Penha. If Luiz Fábio Penha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Valadares scored 2-3 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Duarte Branco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexandre Valadares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Augusto Torres hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. In the 98th minute, Sílvio Prado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Correas FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
