Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Luisinho Bastos got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 4 minutes, César Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barauna FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but César Gonçalves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rubineia FC's Eusébio da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Gonçalves in the 8th minute of play. If Arthur Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Rubineia FC's zone, César Gonçalves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusébio da Silveira came out of the goal and César Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arthur Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusébio da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César Gonçalves in the 15th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Barauna FC's César Gonçalves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eusébio da Silveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Eusébio da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Gonçalves in the 19th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Rubineia FC's Raphael Toscano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudinho Fantini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Augusto de Souza during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th match minute, Barauna FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Augusto de Souza to maneuver through the defense. Adhemar Carneiro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 28th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Claudinho Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisinho Bastos in the 30th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Rubineia FC's Luisinho Bastos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudinho Fantini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kaká Almeida's late challenge caught a Rubineia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kaká Almeida helped the player get up and apologised. Raphael Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Fantini having to interfere. Barauna FC's Arthur Baiano came free and shot a quick shot against goal 45 minutes in the game, fortunately Eusébio da Silveira had problems saving as it came toward the left post. The corner ended in Júlio Paraibano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rubineia FC's Eusébio da Silveira did a great save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell César Gonçalves to make the kick off. Diogo Arósio hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Luisinho Bastos put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Claudinho Fantini. After 56 played minutes Rubineia FC got a freekick which was hit by Falcão Mesquita. César Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 61 minutes into the game, César Gonçalves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Eusébio da Silveira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Raphael Toscano got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Claudinho Fantini was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Luisinho Bastos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luisinho Bastos really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. In the 78th minute of the match Osvaldo Soares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eusébio da Silveira skillfully saved the ball. If Arthur Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur Baiano in the 79th minute of play forced Rubineia FC's goalkeeper Eusébio da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Adhemar Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, Rubineia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Baiano came free, but Eusébio da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 90 minutes, Raphael Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rubineia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raphael Toscano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, César Gonçalves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rubineia FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
