The audience was convinced that Roberto Amaral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vágner Meira was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Elivélton Furlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Lúcio Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Irajuba AD's goal looked a bit too open when Túlio Rodrigues came free, but Vágner Meira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vágner Meira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Irajuba AD's Dalmo Moreno got a free kick in the 29th minute. Vágner Meira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roberto Amaral's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Vágner Meira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Túlio Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Irajuba AD's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Tasso came free, but Vágner Meira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

In the 54th minute, Roberto Amaral made a precise shot to the right of Vágner Meira. Irajuba AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Elivélton Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Queiroz having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Jairo Tasso notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Irajuba AD's Vágner Meira. Roberto Amaral was extremely unlucky when he, in the 67th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Vágner Meira made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Túlio Rodrigues sent off a good shot on target. Roberto Amaral might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vágner Meira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roberto Amaral ran back to his position shaking his head. 78 minutes into the match, Irajuba AD's goalkeeper Vágner Meira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jairo Tasso. A collision led to Irajuba AD getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Paulinho Quadros hit a great ball. Jairo Tasso struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Vágner Meira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jonny jonny yes pappa. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remo Vergílio got free with Vágner Meira in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jairo Tassos short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Vágner Meira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Roberto Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Paulo Arósio kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Roberto Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Jonny jonny yes pappa could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Irajuba AD throughout the match.
