Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Irajuba AD's zone, Tiago de Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vágner Meira came out of the goal and Tiago de Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Irajuba AD defense, Ernesto Antunes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vágner Meira. The Irajuba AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vágner Meira should have stopped the shot. Tiago de Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vágner Meira having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Ricardinho Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vágner Meira came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Estação 1ª de Mangueira's Tiago de Sousa. But to his dismay, Tiago de Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Vágner Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Vieira in the 23rd minute of the match. Sydney Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Vágner Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Irajuba AD's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Antunes came free, but Vágner Meira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Vágner Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiago de Sousa in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vágner Meira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiago de Sousa to make the kick off. Tiago de Sousa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vágner Meira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Vágner Meira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago de Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute, Ernesto Antunes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vágner Meira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Estação 1ª de Mangueira's Angelo Vieira got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernesto Antunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Vágner Meira made a huge save. Tiago de Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Vágner Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vágner Meira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago de Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 82 minutes of play, Estação 1ª de Mangueira's Ernesto Antunes made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vágner Meira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vágner Meira was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Tiago de Sousa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tiago de Sousa really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Vágner Meira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago de Sousa in the 89th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiago de Sousa in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vágner Meira saved Irajuba AD from getting behind. Ernesto Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Vágner Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexsandro Brito during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Estação 1ª de Mangueira played a much better game than Irajuba AD and deserved their victory. The Irajuba AD players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
