The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Gotham City Football Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chuvarada:s goal. Tiago Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josué Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 97 minutes into the match, Gotham City Football Club's César Baptista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiago Loyola narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
