Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Enéas Guerra kicked off to start the match. Evaristo Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ademar Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evaristo Soares took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ademar Carioca. Ademar Carioca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ademir Mazza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vito Soeiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. Ademar Carioca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Soares in the 22nd minute of the match. If William Netto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ademir Mazza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Falcão do Vale went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Enéas Guerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademar Carioca having to interfere. FC Barcelona's Ademir Mazza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save FC Barcelona from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Apiuna's zone, Evaristo Soares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ademar Carioca came out of the goal and Evaristo Soares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vito Soeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Zézinho Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute of the match Zézinho Baptista shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ademir Mazza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Barcelona's Enéas Guerra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ademar Carioca. That made the score 2-2 after 63 minutes of play. 67 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Soeiro came free, but Ademir Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Falcão do Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enéas Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ademar Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vito Soeiro in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ademir Mazza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 92nd minute, Jonathan Netto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ademir Mazza was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. The Apiuna fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Apiuna's Falcão do Vale looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. FC Barcelona's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
