Flávio Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nando Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Flávio Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tostão Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flávio Lopes came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Brigue's Gugu Brodel. But to his dismay, Gugu Brodel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Flávio Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Meirelles in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Artur Alvim's Vinícius Fonseca seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vinícius Fonseca the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Artur Alvim protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vinícius Fonseca had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Brigue booed when Artur Alvim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinícius Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcinho Alves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flávio Lopes having to make a save. After 17 played minutes Artur Alvim got a freekick which was hit by 狄西烽. Flávio Lopes made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Benjamin Meirelles sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 22 in the game by Gugu Brodel from a close distance when the talented Flávio Lopes managed to make a qualified save. Artur Alvim's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Silveira in the 24th minute of play forced Artur Alvim's goalkeeper Flávio Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Brigue's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Tin came free, but Roberto Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute of the match, Gugu Brodel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Flávio Lopes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Artur Alvim's Flávio Lopes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Artur Alvim from getting a goal against them. Cristiano Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nando Carioca to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Gugu Brodel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flávio Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristiano Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Arósio having to interfere. A collision led to Brigue getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Tostão Oliveira's late challenge caught a Artur Alvim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tostão Oliveira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th minute, Tostão Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flávio Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gugu Brodel in the 81st minute of play. If Bruno Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brigue's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
