Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Raimundo Freitas got the match started through his kick off. Giuseppe Sá was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Raimundo Freitas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Raimundo Freitas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Eduardo Vidal got free with Giuseppe Sá in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arí Alvarenga charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arí Alvarenga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes Cajuru SC got a freekick which was hit by Arí Alvarenga. If Vinícius Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After recieving a nice pass, Cajuru SC's Jaime Freitas tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 27 minutes, Rubinho Moraes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quiniporo SS and the Cajuru SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Quiniporo SS getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Rubinho Moraes hit a great ball. Jaime Freitas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 28th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Gualter Saraiva made a precise shot to the right of Dino Marques. Quiniporo SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 36th minute Raimundo Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giuseppe Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gualter Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 45 minutes, Luiz Eduardo Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quiniporo SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Eduardo Vidal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Raimundo Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gualter Saraiva was the one to do the kick off. Vinícius Senna struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Dino Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cajuru SC. In the 55th minute Gualter Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Chico Rosado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, Jaime Freitas sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Dino Marques threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Jaime Freitas this time. Vinícius Senna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dino Marques having to make a save. In the 77th minute, Quiniporo SS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gualter Saraiva fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Dino Marques made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vinícius Senna in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute Gualter Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Vinícius Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd match minute, Quiniporo SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chico Rosado to maneuver through the defense. Gualter Saraiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Quiniporo SS's Rubinho Moraes got a free kick in the 90th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Cajuru SC's Vinícius Senna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dino Marques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dino Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualter Saraiva in the 93rd minute of play. Cajuru SC played a much better game than Quiniporo SS and deserved their victory. The Quiniporo SS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
