Luís Eduardo Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bernardinho Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juarês Fantini was a little too slow when José Vítor da Costa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Eduardo Monteiro in the 23rd minute of play forced Carneiros SC's goalkeeper Dé Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Pimenta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Juarês Fantini made a huge save. 36 minutes into the match, Deodoro SS's goalkeeper Juarês Fantini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Pimenta. Juarês Fantini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco Pimenta went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Dé Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardinho Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Luís Eduardo Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dé Novaes having to interfere. The Deodoro SS fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Deodoro SS's Luís Eduardo Monteiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Vítor da Costa made a kick off. José Vítor da Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juarês Fantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deodoro SS's Luís Eduardo Monteiro got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Carneiros SC's Dé Novaes got control of the ball when Bernardinho Borges tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Carneiros SC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Luiz Fabiano Guimarães hit a great ball. Carneiros SC's Dé Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Eduardo Monteiro in the 81st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Deodoro SS's zone, José Vítor da Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juarês Fantini came out of the goal and José Vítor da Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the match, Deodoro SS's goal looked a bit too open when José Vítor da Costa came free, but Juarês Fantini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, José Vítor da Costa made a precise shot to the right of Juarês Fantini. Deodoro SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Luís Guilherme Prata took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Juarês Fantini. Deodoro SS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
