Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ernesto da Silveira kicked off to start the match. Cristian Paranaense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto da Silveira in the 3rd minute of the match. Cristian Paranaense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto da Silveira in the 4th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Vaccaria EC's Carlinhos Paraibano got a free kick in the 5th minute. Luís Eduardo Tepedino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glauco Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 16 minutes of play, Vaccaria EC's Ernesto da Silveira made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristian Paranaense was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ernesto da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Vaccaria EC's Renan Hermes got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 28 minutes into the match, Vaccaria EC's Andrézinho Dracena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristian Paranaense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Ivo Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Glauco Leal came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Itupiranga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Glauco Leal couldn't finish the play. Andrézinho Dracena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Itupiranga's Giovanni Rosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Eduardo Tepedino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
In the 54th minute of the match Itupiranga got a corner. Vaccaria EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jeremias de Lara ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Jeremias de Lara almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vaccaria EC's Luís Eduardo Tepedino did a great save. After a rather tough play, Itupiranga's Bruninho Eger got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 64th match minute, Itupiranga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murilo Cabral to maneuver through the defense. Andrézinho Dracena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute Glauco Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. César Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Itupiranga's attack was well implemented in the 83rd minute, but when Glauco Leal was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Glauco Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 89th minute, Emanuel Toscano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Vaccaria EC's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Rosa came free, but Luís Eduardo Tepedino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glauco Leal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
