Sandro Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geovanni Leite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Geovanni Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Josué Vander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luiz Vides in the 12th minute of the match. Josué Vander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Luiz Vides, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, Campelo's André Luiz Vides nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Josué Vander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The audience was convinced that André Luiz Vides's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Josué Vander was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Campelo defense, Zézinho Fontes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laerte Aguiar. The Campelo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laerte Aguiar should have stopped the shot. Giovanni Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laerte Aguiar having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arthur de Azevedo during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes Campelo got a freekick which was hit by Arthur de Azevedo. Laerte Aguiar made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Zézinho Fontes sent off a good shot on target. If André Luiz Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

André Luiz Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geovanni Leite might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Josué Vander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geovanni Leite ran back to his position shaking his head. Serginho Arósio hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, André Luiz Vides reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Josué Vander. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 74th minute, Sandro Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute of the match Gilberto Baptista sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Laerte Aguiar skillfully saved the ball. Serginho Arósio kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Campelo's André Luiz Vides got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Giovanni Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laerte Aguiar having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Zézinho Fontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Campelo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
