In the 8th match minute, Anelio SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorival Gomes to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Perivaldo Monteiro could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Bruninho Santana however easily saved by the left post. Natã Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frisco Carretero in the 18th minute of play. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ibicare's goalkeeper Natã Gaúcho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ibicare's Vítor Valadares got a free kick in the 24th minute. If Manuel Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Ibicare defense, Frisco Carretero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Natã Gaúcho. The Ibicare fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Natã Gaúcho should have stopped the shot. Manuel Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Bruninho Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Frisco Carretero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Ibicare players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Anelio SC were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Manuel Severo made the kick off in the second half. Bruninho Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perivaldo Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Anelio SC's Waldir Montenegro suffered a concussion after 55 minutes and had to leave the field. When Paulão Arruda fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ibicare's protests and gave Paulão Arruda a yellow card for diving instead. Anelio SC's Robinho Paranaense was substituted for Waldir Montenegro. After 56 played minutes Ibicare got a freekick which was hit by Paulão Arruda. After having played for 58 minutes, Frisco Carretero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anelio SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frisco Carretero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th match minute, Anelio SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruninho Dracena to maneuver through the defense. Bruninho Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perivaldo Monteiro in the 61st minute of play. After 62 minutes of play Ibicare's Vítor Valadares was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Anelio SC booed when Ibicare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frisco Carretero who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Natã Gaúcho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 65 played minutes Anelio SC got a freekick which was hit by Robinho Paranaense. If Perivaldo Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 70th match minute, Anelio SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dito Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. If Frisco Carretero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Perivaldo Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ibicare booed when Anelio SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 86th minute, Frisco Carretero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Anelio SC booed when Ibicare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulão Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anelio SC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
