Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Giovani Machado made the kick off which started today's match. After 16 minutes of play, Capitão FC's Valdomiro Cruz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcel Dantas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcel Dantas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valdomiro Cruz's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Eugênio Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giovani Machado in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ian Bueno saved Capitão FC from getting behind. When Hudson Rosa fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Capitão FC's protests and gave Hudson Rosa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th match minute, Capitão FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hudson Rosa to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FENIX FC's José Vítor França got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 35th match minute, FENIX FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilmar Prestes to maneuver through the defense. Hudson Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Giovani Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valdomiro Cruz to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdomiro Cruz in the 57th minute of play forced FENIX FC's goalkeeper Marcel Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Valdomiro Cruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Capitão FC's Guto Sergipano got a free kick in the 68th minute. Eugênio Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Gilmar Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcel Dantas was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Guto Sergipano. If Hudson Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FENIX FC's Marcel Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guto Sergipano in the 96th minute of play. The Capitão FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Capitão FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
