Erasmo de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Luís Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Piratas ManagerZone Club were awarded a corner. Tarcisio Bueno went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Piratas ManagerZone Club's corner Tarcisio Bueno fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Erasmo de Toledo quite easily take care of the ball. Frédson Linares hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the game, Agnaldo Lira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inesopolis FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piratas ManagerZone Club the free kick. After 26 played minutes Inesopolis FC got a freekick which was hit by Agnaldo Lira. André Luís Silva's late challenge caught a Inesopolis FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Luís Silva helped the player get up and apologised. André Luís Silva hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Agnaldo Lira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Igor Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. With a little luck, Piratas ManagerZone Club's André Luiz Coelho got control of the ball when Amauri Barbosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valdomiro de Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agnaldo Lira in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Luiz Coelho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half Piratas ManagerZone Club were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Agnaldo Lira to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Inesopolis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valdomiro de Azevedo came free, but Erasmo de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Denílson Bastos fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piratas ManagerZone Club's protests and gave Denílson Bastos a yellow card for diving instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rômulo Pernambucano during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
