Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edvaldo Castro got the match started through his kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Adelino Cruz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luiz Fabiano Valadares. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Edvaldo Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lagoao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edvaldo Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luiz Fabiano Valadares was a little too slow when Edvaldo Castro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 2-0. Dagoberto Guimarães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Benjamin Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Fabiano Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvaldo Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After a rather tough play, Fidelandia FC's Fausto Santos got a free kick in the 40th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dagoberto Guimarães was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Edvaldo Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fabiano Valadares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Santos's late challenge caught a Lagoao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Santos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lagoao booed when Fidelandia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute Edvaldo Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fabiano Valadares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edvaldo Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fabiano Valadares having to interfere. In the 65th minute Adelino Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fabiano Valadares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dagoberto Guimarães came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Fidelandia FC fans jumped to their feet. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Cruz in the 92nd minute of play forced Fidelandia FC's goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adelino Cruz struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Luiz Fabiano Valadares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lagoao. When the referee ended the match the Lagoao players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
