Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Oscar Maia took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Insu SS getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Beto Furtado hit a great ball. In the 7th minute, Duarte Pernambucano fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Cristiano Romero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Ronaldão Linhares made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Insu SS's Nico Pimenta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ronaldão Linhares. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. In the 19th minute Edmílson Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldão Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristiano Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldão Linhares having to interfere. Ronaldão Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Pimenta in the 27th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Cristiano Romero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ronaldão Linhares. Cristiano Romero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Ronaldão Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte Pernambucano in the 36th minute of the match. Ronaldão Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Pimenta in the 37th minute of play. Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubens Leão having to interfere. Rubens Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Maia in the 44th minute of the match. Rubens Leão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Maia's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Duarte Pernambucano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ronaldão Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Romero in the 52nd minute of the match. Ronaldão Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Alves in the 60th minute of play. Claudinho Arruda kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. When Duarte Pernambucano came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Insu SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duarte Pernambucano couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute Edmílson Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldão Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Valdomiro Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chuy's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdomiro Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rubens Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oscar Maia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Chuy booed when Insu SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beto Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte Pernambucano in the 78th minute of play forced Chuy's goalkeeper Ronaldão Linhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronaldão Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte Pernambucano in the 81st minute of the match. A hard shot by Fernando Simão from long distance, 84 minutes into the match, got Rubens Leão's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Oscar Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chuy's supporters rose to their feet, but Oscar Maia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rubens Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Insu SS's Rubens Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Maia in the 90th minute of play. After having played for 93 minutes, Oscar Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chuy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Maia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joélson Britto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Insu SS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chuy had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
