Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Oscar Maia got the match started through his kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Chuy's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Paranaense came free, but Ronaldão Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronaldão Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Paranaense in the 10th minute of the match. Mazinho Koehler hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After having played for 11 minutes, Jeferson Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flacandói FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeferson Goiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute Haroldo Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldão Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Flacandói FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Maia came free, but Dito Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdomiro Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeferson Goiano in the 22nd minute of play forced Chuy's goalkeeper Ronaldão Linhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Cesinha Simões cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ronaldão Linhares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 26th play minute Oscar Maia came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dito Rossi. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Flacandói FC's zone, Oscar Maia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dito Rossi came out of the goal and Oscar Maia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute Haroldo Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldão Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldão Linhares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesinha Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Haroldo Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ronaldão Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Chuy's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Paranaense came free, but Ronaldão Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot by Fernando Simão from long distance, 47 minutes into the match, got Dito Rossi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Haroldo Paranaense made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Flacandói FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chico Saldanha to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute, Oscar Maia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dito Rossi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Flacandói FC's Chico Saldanha got his second yellow card of the match in the 57th minute. The referee ordered Chico Saldanha off the ground. The supporters of Chuy booed when Flacandói FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chico Saldanha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar Maia scored 3-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dito Rossi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Oscar Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dito Rossi having to interfere. Oscar Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Oscar Maia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dito Rossi was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. In the 96th minute, Luís Guilherme Dante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Flacandói FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chuy.
