Wilson Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualter da Rocha in the 7th minute of the match. G8 CLUBE's João Augusto Pitta got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. G8 CLUBE's Fiori Trigo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by João Pedro Koehler in the 11 minute of the game. Wilson Cardoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelsinho Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, G8 CLUBE's Nelsinho Matos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Cardoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michel Veloso during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 17 played minutes Vacacai got a freekick which was hit by Michel Veloso. In the 19th minute, Gualter da Rocha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Cardoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Gualter da Rocha hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the game, Gualter da Rocha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Wilson Cardoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Luís Fabiano Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vacacai's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Fabiano Proença was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júlio Rodrigues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wilson Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualter da Rocha in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Nelsinho Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dino Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half G8 CLUBE were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nelsinho Matos to strike the kick off in the second half. Vacacai's Wilson Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualter da Rocha in the 53rd minute of play. Vacacai's Luís Fabiano Proença got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gualter da Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Wilson Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, G8 CLUBE's Wilson Cardoso threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gualter da Rocha, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Nelsinho Matos fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored G8 CLUBE's protests and gave Nelsinho Matos a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, G8 CLUBE's Nelsinho Matos got a free kick in the 69th minute. After 80 played minutes Vacacai got a freekick which was hit by Michel Veloso. With a little luck, Vacacai's Wilson Cardoso got control of the ball when Nelsinho Matos tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of G8 CLUBE booed when Vacacai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fabiano Proença didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Gualter da Rocha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wilson Cardoso, 0-4. In the 96th minute, Mauro Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. G8 CLUBE's Nelsinho Matos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 97th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vacacai. The G8 CLUBE players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
