Pedro Luiz Paes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesley Antunes in the 21st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Massa in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Luiz Paes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Natanael Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th match minute, Caldeira SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastião Bittencourt to maneuver through the defense. If Natanael Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marada's Hernani Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Fernando Cruz in the 86th minute of play. Caldeira SS's Natanael Maranhense got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agostinho Siqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 95th minute Natanael Maranhense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernani Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wesley Antunes kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 99thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Caldeira SS's keeper Pedro Luiz Paes was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
