But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Vander couldn't finish the play. When Rio Das Ostras FC's Felipe Leme in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fugida AD's goalie prevented a goal. 7 minutes into the game, Romário de Medeiros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fugida AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rio Das Ostras FC the free kick. In the 7th match minute, Fugida AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romário de Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. Armando Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enéas Souto having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Rio Das Ostras FC's zone, Emanuel Vander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cacá Paraense came out of the goal and Emanuel Vander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the match, Rio Das Ostras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Romário de Medeiros came free, but Cacá Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Romário de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Vander succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Felipe Leme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Enéas Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute of the match, Armando Romero got a very nice opportunity to score, but Enéas Souto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Romário de Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cacá Paraense having to interfere. The Rio Das Ostras FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fugida AD were winning 0-1.

In the 59th match minute, Rio Das Ostras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Cerezo to maneuver through the defense. Fugida AD's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 61st minute of the game, when Nelsinho Pirani after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Rio Das Ostras FC's goal. Nelsinho Pirani was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Fugida AD's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Leme came free, but Enéas Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cacá Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Vander, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Cacá Paraense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Vander's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Rio Das Ostras FC's goalkeeper Cacá Paraense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romário de Medeiros. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fugida AD eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
