An unexpectedly hard shot by Kiko Castro in the 11th minute of play forced Uacurizal FC's goalkeeper Armando Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kiko Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eliézer Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Armando Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiko Castro in the 18th minute of the match. Paulo José Botelho struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Armando Proença didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Urucuca SS. 42 minutes into the match, Paulo José Botelho notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Uacurizal FC's Armando Proença. Armando Proença was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristiano Meirelles to make the kick off. A hard shot 57 in the game by Paulo José Botelho from a close distance when the talented Armando Proença managed to make a qualified save. Uacurizal FC's players were relieved. In the 62nd minute, Paulo José Botelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 65 minutes, Paulo José Botelho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Urucuca SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo José Botelho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armando Proença didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kiko Castro went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Kiko Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Proença made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo José Botelho in the 87th minute. Armando Proença showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kiko Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 93rd minute, Paulo José Botelho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armando Proença was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. If Cristiano Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urucuca SS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
