If Christian Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Olívio Pernambucano kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Emvira EC's goalkeeper Jefferson Zanette had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Pereira. Porao EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
