They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dida Toscano to make the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renan Dracena couldn't finish the play. Dida Toscano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the match, Borussia Vasco Starks's Dida Toscano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luizinho Cardozo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luizinho Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renan Dracena, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renan Dracena in the 96th minute of play forced Internacional-RS's goalkeeper Luizinho Cardozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Borussia Vasco Starks players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
