Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Moisés Goiano got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Fernando Dracena got free with Moisés Ferraz in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 4 minutes into the match, Urubuzada FC's goalkeeper Moisés Ferraz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Fernando Dracena. Luís Fabiano Linares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Carlos Fernando Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ademar Severo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Urubuzada FC's zone, Patrício Carvalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moisés Ferraz came out of the goal and Patrício Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute, Carlos Fernando Dracena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Moisés Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrício Carvalho struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Moisés Ferraz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arassui. When Luís Fabiano Linares fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Urubuzada FC's protests and gave Luís Fabiano Linares a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Urubuzada FC's Luís Fabiano Linares got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Patrício Carvalho struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Moisés Ferraz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arassui. After having played for 38 minutes, Eurico da Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arassui's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eurico da Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ademar Severo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egídio Quadros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Moisés Goiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patrício Carvalho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Patrício Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arassui's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrício Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moisés Ferraz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Arassui's Egídio Quadros got control of the ball when Ademar Severo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Moisés Ferraz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrício Carvalho in the 70th minute of the match. Ismael Simões's late challenge caught a Arassui's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ismael Simões helped the player get up and apologised. 80 minutes in the game Luiz Gustavo de Toledo got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Arassui's Egídio Quadros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Arassui from getting a goal against them. Inácio Messias kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Urubuzada FC's zone, Carlos Fernando Dracena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moisés Ferraz came out of the goal and Carlos Fernando Dracena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Urubuzada FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
