The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5thth minute of the game Luiz Fabiano Alvarenga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oeiras FC's André Luís Aguiar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Durval Bueno kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Luiz Fabiano Alvarenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luís Aguiar having to interfere. When Rubens Alcântara came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Oeiras FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rubens Alcântara couldn't finish the play. 16 minutes into the match, Pucuriua AD's goal looked a bit too open when Thomás Palmeira came free, but Valério Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Luís Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Alvarenga in the 18th minute of the match. If Rubens Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valério Corrêa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fernando Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Pucuriua AD's goal looked a bit too open when Thomás Palmeira came free, but Valério Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rubens Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Oeiras FC's Thomás Palmeira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valério Corrêa narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

André Luís Aguiar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Fabiano Alvarenga went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Luiz Fabiano Alvarenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rubens Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Valério Corrêa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pucuriua AD's Kauan Guimarães got a free kick in the 61st minute. Oeiras FC's André Luís Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomé Rezende in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubens Alcântara in the 67th minute of play forced Pucuriua AD's goalkeeper Valério Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pucuriua AD! The referee gave Oeiras FC a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Juarês Abreu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pucuriua AD's Valério Corrêa. 1-2. Valério Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubens Alcântara in the 75th minute of play. André Luís Aguiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomé Rezende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Fabiano Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Thomás Palmeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pucuriua AD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
