Jefferson Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Régis Recife in the 3rd minute of play. Ulysses das Neves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rui Quirino's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cangas AD's zone, Osvaldo Tinoco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulysses das Neves came out of the goal and Osvaldo Tinoco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rui Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ulysses das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Cangas AD's goalkeeper Ulysses das Neves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldo Tinoco. Jefferson Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Koehler in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Eliseu Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysses das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseu Leal in the 23rd minute of play forced Cangas AD's goalkeeper Ulysses das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Pori AD's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Mello came free, but Jefferson Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 26 in the game by Osvaldo Tinoco from a close distance when the talented Ulysses das Neves managed to make a qualified save. Cangas AD's players were relieved. In the 30th match minute, Pori AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. Jefferson Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Koehler in the 31st minute of play. With his leg Ulysses das Neves managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Pori AD's Rui Quirino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 39th minute, Régis Recife ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jefferson Lima was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Eliseu Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ismael Mello scored 0-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jefferson Lima, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Eliseu Leal made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Cangas AD's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu Leal came free, but Ulysses das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliseu Leal in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulysses das Neves saved Cangas AD from getting behind. Rui Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulysses das Neves having to interfere. Douglas Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulysses das Neves having to interfere. If Rui Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Régis Recife managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cangas AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Régis Recife was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jefferson Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute Eliseu Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysses das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldo Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rui Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulysses das Neves having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Abel Damião hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osvaldo Tinoco scored 1-2 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ulysses das Neves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eliseu Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute Eliseu Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysses das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75thth minute of the game Osvaldo Tinoco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cangas AD's Ulysses das Neves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Douglas Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulysses das Neves having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Douglas Sampaio made a precise shot to the right of Ulysses das Neves. Cangas AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. When Rui Quirino came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Pori AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Quirino couldn't finish the play. Maicon Vidal took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulysses das Neves. Ulysses das Neves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Rui Quirino kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yuri Koehler got free with Jefferson Lima in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jefferson Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Régis Recife, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rui Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pori AD fully deserved thier win.
