Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, Luiz Gustavo Penha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 4 minutes, Luiz Gustavo Penha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jacaqua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Gustavo Penha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cícero Cavalcante hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. If Antônio Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 9 minutes, Emerson Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jacaqua and the Francez players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Emerson Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonardo Esteves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Palmeira's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Jacaqua's Antônio Leite sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celsinho Tande narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Cearense in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonardo Esteves saved Jacaqua from getting behind. 19 minutes into the match, Jacaqua's goal looked a bit too open when João Cearense came free, but Leonardo Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Gustavo Penha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When João Cearense came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Francez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Cearense couldn't finish the play. Celsinho Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Gustavo Penha in the 30th minute of play. Luiz Gustavo Penha might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celsinho Tande. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiz Gustavo Penha ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th minute, Emerson Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Renato Cardozo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leonardo Esteves. Jacaqua's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Leonardo Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Cearense in the 43rd minute of the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Luiz Gustavo Penha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jacaqua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Gustavo Penha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Cearense to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathan Palmeira got free with Leonardo Esteves in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. João Cearense might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonardo Esteves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Cearense ran back to his position shaking his head. 55 minutes into the game, Antônio Leite cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Celsinho Tande was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 64th minute, Francez's João Cearense ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leonardo Esteves. Leonardo Esteves yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Sandro Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. With his leg Leonardo Esteves managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Francez's Jonathan Palmeira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 78 minutes, João Cearense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Francez's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Cearense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sandro Cerezo hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. When João Cearense came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Francez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Cearense couldn't finish the play. Luiz Gustavo Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celsinho Tande having to interfere. Francez's Celsinho Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Leite in the 94th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
