The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Rubim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Paratudai SS's Giuseppe de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Valladares in the 17th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nelson da Rocha in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giuseppe de Mendonça prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ian Valladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ian Valladares in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giuseppe de Mendonça saved Paratudai SS from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Ian Valladares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rubim's supporters rose to their feet, but Ian Valladares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giuseppe de Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th minute, Elias de Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute of the match Aloísio Vides shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giuseppe de Mendonça showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Ian Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giuseppe de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Valladares in the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Paratudai SS's goal looked a bit too open when Nelson da Rocha came free, but Giuseppe de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giuseppe de Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Valladares, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Nelson da Rocha hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Rubim's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Victor Rossi 45 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victor Rossi was the one to do the kick off. Ian Valladares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Giuseppe de Mendonça came out and tried to block the shot, but Ian Valladares slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 51st minute. Giuseppe de Mendonça was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ian Valladares showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 55 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nelson da Rocha got free with Giuseppe de Mendonça in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Ian Valladares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giuseppe de Mendonça was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. 71 minutes into the match, Paratudai SS's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Valladares came free, but Giuseppe de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Jeremias Pimenta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 82nd minute Ian Valladares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giuseppe de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Nelson da Rocha lined in a short shot 1-5 behind a frustrated Giuseppe de Mendonça. 93 minutes into the match, Rubim's goal looked a bit too open when José Maria Branco came free, but Rodolfo Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
