Elivélton Zanette's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Acácio Valladares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Aricobe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Breno Lima came free, but Lauro Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lauro Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breno Lima in the 44th minute of play. Umberto Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Lauro Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Elivélton Zanette made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Aricobe FC's goalkeeper Lauro Catarinense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Breno Lima. In the 55th minute, Elivélton Zanette got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Negri in the 56th minute of play forced Cevadongo's goalkeeper Acácio Valladares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
