Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dorian Gaspar got the match started through his kick off. Bruno Leão hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, Henrique Tavares reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luizinho Abraão. The goal made the score 1-0. Elias Diniz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Luizinho Abraão when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 19th minute Henrique Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luizinho Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Dorian Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sabujirana's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorian Gaspar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dionísio Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dionísio Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egídio dos Santos in the 22nd minute of the match. Dionísio Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorian Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 24 played minutes Uruana SS got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Cearense. In the 26th minute of the match Kaká Brodel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dionísio Sena showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Cearense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uruana SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sabujirana the free kick. After a rather tough play, Uruana SS's Arnaldo Cearense got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 28 minutes, Ernesto Tande mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uruana SS and the Sabujirana players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th minute, Ernesto Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 30 played minutes Uruana SS got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Cearense. Zé Pedro Seco, 31 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Luizinho Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrique Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Téo Maranhense charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Téo Maranhense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th match minute, Sabujirana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Téo Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. If Henrique Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorian Gaspar in the 48th minute of play forced Uruana SS's goalkeeper Dionísio Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Henrique Tavares made the kick off in the second half. Egídio dos Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Dionísio Sena made a huge save. 56 minutes into the match, Sabujirana's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Tavares came free, but Luizinho Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Uruana SS's Elias Diniz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luizinho Abraão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elias Diniz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luizinho Abraão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. If Henrique Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egídio dos Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Dionísio Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luizinho Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Diniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. If Egídio dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 played minutes Uruana SS got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Leão. After 80 played minutes, Uruana SS's Armando Catarinense shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luizinho Abraão came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Uruana SS reached it. Egídio dos Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Dionísio Sena made a huge save. 88 minutes into the match, Sabujirana's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Tavares came free, but Luizinho Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Elias Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luizinho Abraão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Tavares in the 93rd minute of the match. Egídio dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sabujirana's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
