Luiz Fabiano Paraibano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ken Belert in the 6th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Ken Belert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ronaldão da Fonseca hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Aírton Chaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Macapuana's Aírton Chaves in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ibrahy SC's goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano Paraibano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aírton Chaves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ken Belert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Luiz Fabiano Paraibano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Fabiano Paraibano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aírton Chaves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ibrahy SC booed when Macapuana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederico do Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ken Belert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Ibrahy SC booed when Macapuana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo Rezende didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ken Belert struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Luiz Fabiano Paraibano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Macapuana. 76 minutes into the match, Ibrahy SC's goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano Paraibano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ken Belert. Aírton Chaves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elói Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovani Pinho having to interfere. Ronaldão da Fonseca succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 89th playminute. When the final whistle sounded Macapuana left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ibrahy SC.
