When Cássio Marques fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Puei EC's protests and gave Cássio Marques a yellow card for diving instead. Filipe Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glauco Maciel in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute, João Augusto Gomes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henrique Trancoso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Filipe Leme came out and tried to block the shot, but Henrique Trancoso slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 24th minute. Puei EC's Filipe Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Guilherme Vieira in the 34th minute of play. Luís Guilherme Vieira struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Filipe Leme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Negrinhos Esporte Clube.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cássio Marques to make the kick off. A collision led to Negrinhos Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Elder Fernandes hit a great ball. Luís Guilherme Vieira took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filipe Leme. Filipe Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Trancoso in the 82nd minute of the match. Filipe Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glauco Maciel in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of Negrinhos Esporte Clube booed when Puei EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Augusto Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Puei EC's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Trancoso came free, but Filipe Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cássio Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The supporters of Negrinhos Esporte Clube booed when Puei EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Róbson Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Negrinhos Esporte Clube fully deserved thier win.
