Telmo Bueno was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Josué de Moraes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Pimpolho FC's Telmo Bueno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Pimpolho FC from getting a goal against them. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Júlio Alvarenga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Telmo Bueno. Pimpolho FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Júlio Alvarenga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 16th minute Dorival de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fábio Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dorival de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Josué de Moraes in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Telmo Bueno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Telmo Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josué de Moraes in the 40th minute of the match. Armandinho Tinoco lost his temper 41 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 42 played minutes Pimpolho FC got a freekick which was hit by Armandinho Tinoco. 45 minutes into the match, Pimpolho FC's goalkeeper Telmo Bueno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kiko Medeiros. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dorival de Andrade to strike the kick off in the second half. Telmo Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jânio Terra in the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Alvarenga in the 58th minute of play forced Pimpolho FC's goalkeeper Telmo Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jânio Terra took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Telmo Bueno. Telmo Bueno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Vitório Maciel hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Jorge Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Luiz Fábio Fantini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Telmo Bueno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. When Jonas Mateus fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pimpolho FC's protests and gave Jonas Mateus a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ipiabanha EC booed when Pimpolho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Mateus didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Luís Guilherme Salgado made a precise shot to the right of Telmo Bueno. Pimpolho FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0.
