In the 12thth minute of the game Ramiro Mangueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Delta F.C.'s Adrianos Imperatore was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 14 minutes, Cido Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibitira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cido Freitas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Mangueira in the 18th minute of play forced Delta F.C.'s goalkeeper Adrianos Imperatore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Ibitira's Cido Freitas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adrianos Imperatore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Delta F.C. getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Marcelo Pena hit a great ball. Ramiro Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Cido Freitas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adrianos Imperatore was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Cido Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vítor Mesquita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luisão Faria in the 44th minute. Adrianos Imperatore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Mangueira in the 46th minute of play. Roberto de Azevedo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Ramiro Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramiro Mangueira made a kick off. After some careless play in the Delta F.C. defense, Cido Freitas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adrianos Imperatore. The Delta F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adrianos Imperatore should have stopped the shot. In the 64th match minute, Delta F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisão Faria to maneuver through the defense. Wanderson Cearense's late challenge caught a Delta F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wanderson Cearense helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ibitira getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Wanderson Cearense hit a great ball. Cido Freitass short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Adrianos Imperatore to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vítor Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisão Faria in the 75th minute of the match. Davi Freire kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Wanderson Cearense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ibitira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Adrianos Imperatore was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ramiro Mangueira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 98 minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ibitira had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
