Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vladimir Vides took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Tomé Leme made a precise shot to the right of Armandinho Mello. Miratinim's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Miratinim's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião de Andrade came free, but Armandinho Mello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 8 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Miratinim! Tostão Corrêa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Dário Penha skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 14 played minutes Serragem got a freekick which was hit by Digo Andrade. Vladimir Vides struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Dário Penha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miratinim. Tomé Leme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Miratinim getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Edgard Tavares hit a great ball. Agostinho Azevedo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Armandinho Mello. Miratinim's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Miratinim's Marcel do Nascimento got a free kick in the 29th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastião de Andrade in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armandinho Mello saved Miratinim from getting behind. Armandinho Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomé Leme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tomé Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Tostão Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miratinim's Armandinho Mello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomé Leme in the 43rd minute of play. Vladimir Vides's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dário Penha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 48th minute of the game. One of Miratinim:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Serragem:s goal. In the 50th minute there was a penalty for Serragem. Agostinho Azevedo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Armandinho Mello. 0-4. The Miratinim players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Serragem were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastião de Andrade was the one to do the kick off. Miratinim's Armandinho Mello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Miratinim from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Vladimir Vides's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dário Penha was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 64th minute, Tomé Leme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Sebastião de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the game, Wilson Teles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Serragem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Miratinim the free kick. Vladimir Vides struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. After 76 minutes of play, Miratinim's Tostão Corrêa made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dário Penha was left in no man's land by his defense there! 82 minutes into the match, Serragem's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimir Vides came free, but Dário Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugênio Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Sebastião de Andrade recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Armandinho Mello. Sebastião de Andrade showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. 100 minutes into the match, Miratinim's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião de Andrade came free, but Armandinho Mello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serragem's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
