Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hernani Barros started the match with the kick off. Dé Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei Rezende having to interfere. Jonathan de Azevedo hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Dé Galvão's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Claudinei Rezende skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Emílio Passos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Rosa in the 20th minute of play. Zacarias Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Emílio Passos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, Fluminense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anísio Duarte to maneuver through the defense. If Hernani Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernani Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 38 in the game by Dé Galvão from a close distance when the talented Claudinei Rezende managed to make a qualified save. Angelica's players were relieved. The crowd rose to their feet as Fluminense FC's Hernani Barros slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Claudinei Rezende. That made the score 1-0 after 40 minutes of play. Angelica's Jonathan de Azevedo got his second yellow card of the match in the 46th minute. The referee ordered Jonathan de Azevedo off the ground. After 46 played minutes Angelica got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan de Azevedo.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raí Aguiar to make the kick off. Armando da Rocha's late challenge caught a Angelica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armando da Rocha helped the player get up and apologised. Armando da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th match minute, Fluminense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frédson de Lara to maneuver through the defense. Hernani Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Angelica defense, Hernani Barros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudinei Rezende. The Angelica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudinei Rezende should have stopped the shot. Claudinei Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dé Galvão in the 71st minute of the match. When Amauri Torres came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Angelica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amauri Torres couldn't finish the play. Hernani Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei Rezende having to interfere. Zacarias Rosa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emílio Passos having to make a save. Claudinei Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dé Galvão, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Raí Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amauri Torres struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Emílio Passos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Angelica. After 96 minutes, Paulão da Rocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fluminense FC and the Angelica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paulão da Rocha hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
