Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arí Lara got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Estrelado getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Luís Fernando Medeiros hit a great ball. Nico Bertassi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 10th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Estrelado defense, Haroldo Peres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geovânio Melo. The Estrelado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geovânio Melo should have stopped the shot. 21 minutes into the match, Ipiabas's goal looked a bit too open when Arí Lara came free, but Jarbas Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Arí Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gino Arósio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geovânio Melo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Jarbas Salgado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jarbas Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arí Lara in the 33rd minute of the match. João Paulo de Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Jarbas Salgado made a huge save. In the 35th minute, Estrelado's Arí Lara dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Geovânio Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Estrelado's Arí Lara slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jarbas Salgado. That made the score 2-2 after 41 minutes of play. Estrelado's Arí Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Arí Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th match minute, Estrelado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráuzio Braga to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Ipiabas getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Gláuber Dante hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ipiabas's Osvaldinho Linares got a free kick in the 59th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Paulo de Amorim in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jarbas Salgado saved Ipiabas from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Estrelado's William Vidal got a free kick in the 67th minute. Geovânio Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Peres in the 69th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Ipiabas's Gino Arósio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geovânio Melo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. When Arí Lara came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Estrelado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arí Lara couldn't finish the play. Gláuber Dante hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Gino Arósio struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Geovânio Melo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ipiabas. The Ipiabas players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Estrelado from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
