Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Arí Lara started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 10 minutes into the match, Estrelado's João Paulo de Amorim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Perivaldo Seco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. João Paulo de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Perivaldo Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dário Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Melo having to interfere. In the 20thth minute of the game Franklin Linares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estrelado's Geovânio Melo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Estrelado getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Antônio Schmidt hit a great ball. Benê Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Limeirinha booed when Estrelado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Paulo de Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geovânio Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franklin Linares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Estrelado getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Dráuzio Braga hit a great ball. Geovânio Melo made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Benê Travassos sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Franklin Linares kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Geovânio Melo. That made the score 1-0 in the 36 minute of play. Benê Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geovânio Melo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benê Travassos in the 45th minute. In the 46th match minute, Estrelado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Franklin Linares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Franklin Linares made a kick off. Estrelado's Geovânio Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin Linares in the 57th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Benê Travassos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Limeirinha's supporters rose to their feet, but Benê Travassos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovânio Melo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Franklin Linares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geovânio Melo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Estrelado's goal looked a bit too open when Franklin Linares came free, but Geovânio Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geovânio Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benê Travassos in the 72nd minute of play. João Paulo de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perivaldo Seco having to interfere. Arí Laras short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Perivaldo Seco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Linares in the 78th minute of play forced Estrelado's goalkeeper Geovânio Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Limeirinha getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Magno Trancoso hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Estrelado's Luís Fernando Medeiros tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Estrelado's zone, Franklin Linares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovânio Melo came out of the goal and Franklin Linares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 90 played minutes Estrelado got a freekick which was hit by Dráuzio Braga. Benê Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Melo having to interfere. Limeirinha's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
