Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vitinho Correia started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Paulo Veiga got free with Ulisses Carioca in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Telmo Sanches sped through Jequie's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tibúrcio Palmeira. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Telmo Sanches in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tibúrcio Palmeira saved Jequie from getting behind. 18 minutes into the match, Trovadores FC's goalkeeper Ulisses Carioca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Paulo Veiga. Tibúrcio Palmeira came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Trovadores FC's Telmo Sanches. But to his dismay, Telmo Sanches quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Trovadores FC's Ulisses Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dudu Abraão in the 29th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Trovadores FC's Alexsandro Sousa got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Dráusio Pitta fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jequie's protests and gave Dráusio Pitta a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Trovadores FC booed when Jequie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráusio Pitta didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Vitinho Correia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ulisses Carioca. That made the score 2-2 in the 42 minute of play. Alexsandro Sousa lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 46th minute, one of Trovadores FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Trovadores FC. In the 49th minute of the game, Jequie got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Telmo Sanches stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Faustão Dominguess short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Tibúrcio Palmeira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jequie's Tibúrcio Palmeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Jequie from getting a goal against them. 62 minutes into the match, Jequie's goalkeeper Tibúrcio Palmeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Faustão Domingues. Ulisses Carioca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Osvaldo Cosme went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Trovadores FC defense, Dudu Abraão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulisses Carioca. The Trovadores FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulisses Carioca should have stopped the shot. Osvaldo Cosme scored 6-2 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ulisses Carioca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th match minute, Trovadores FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válter Koehler to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Cosme during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Trovadores FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Jonathan Cosme hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, José Paulo Veiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulisses Carioca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitinho Correia in the 83rd minute of play. Ulisses Carioca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitinho Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 played minutes Jequie got a freekick which was hit by Dráusio Pitta. In the 88th minute, Tiago Gabriel Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiago Gabriel Gaspar hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Nilson de Medeiros missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 92 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Ulisses Carioca right hand side. Trovadores FC's Ulisses Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitinho Correia in the 95th minute of play. Faustão Domingues scored 6-3 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tibúrcio Palmeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 100th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jequie's goalkeeper Tibúrcio Palmeira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jequie were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Trovadores FC for a fine match.
